Euro Hella MLED 2.0
Step 1 Removing The Factory Projector
-After the headlights are removed from the car you’ll want to create a clean work area. Next remove the factory projector. These are mounted using 3 Phillips head screws, you’ll want to completely remove the screw as these will not be used to mount the new MLED adapter. The kit comes with new mounting hardware that is slightly longer than OE. Remove all 3 screws and projector. Before setting the projector aside remove the orange weathertight gasket and reinstall it in the new MLED adapter. Carefully press the seal into the new adapter making sure it does not twist in the gap. Pay attention to the orientation of the seal when you remove it as there is a top and bottom side. The rounded edge is the top side.

Step 2 Preparing The Headlight For The MLED
-Using the supplied white template, place it inside the headlight making sure to align it with the top of the headlight. This template will act as your guide showing you where the inside shelf needs to be trimmed in order to fit the MLED projector. Using a dremel with a sanding drum or similar tool, trim the shelf on the inside of the headlight to match the included template. The Euro Hella’s have some etched lines on the inside of the lens that are very delicate. Generally if you wipe them with a cloth or microfiber they will disappear. Take the necessary precautions while doing the trimming to avoid letting debris get on the lens. I find it best to use an air compressor to blow out the inside of the housing to clear the plastic debris from trimming. Compressed air in a can works as well and can be purchased at most hardware stores. Complete this step on both sides. The template works on both the left and right side.

Step 3 Installing The New Projector
-The MLED has already been prepared for you so all you need to do now is install the adapter into the headlight housing. Pay attention to which orientation you install the adapter. Flat side on top with the round side on the bottom. Mounting the projector using the new supplied hardware.

Step 4 Mounting The Ballast
-The ballast is mounted to the headlight bracket using the supplied M6 bolt. The bolt is placed into the bracket through the front in the centered hole between the high and low beam. There is a left and right bracket for the ballast. Easiest way to tell the difference is aligning the low beam connector at the bottom of the headlight bracket with the text facing the proper direction. Tighten the ballast bracket down firmly. Routing the wire harnessing free of any obstructions and plug in the high beam connector. Thread the MLED connector into the mating side from the ballast paying attention to aligning the areas together, tighten the lock ring to secure the two together. Mount the MLED connector to the ballast bracket in the zip tie mounting location.

Step 5 Wire Connections
-The wire adaptation harness has two inputs for the high beam connection. One goes to the LED driver to signal the bi-xenon activation. The other goes to the high beam connection of the back of the bulb cap. Pin 1 is ground, Pin 2 is power. Press firmly on the pins to insert them.

Step 6 Aiming The Headlights
-Once completely installed you will want to aim the headlights. Find a completely flat surface with a perpendicular wall that the car can be exactly 25 feet away from. Once the vehicle is 25 feet away (headlights being what we are measuring the 25 feet away from) measure from the ground to the center of the projector lens. Take that measurement and subtract 2. Mark this measurement on the wall you’re 25 feet away from. This is the line we are aiming the height of the bottom of the cut off to be at. The step up which should be on the right side of the beam is not what we are aligning with this measurement, you should be looking at the left side that is lower. Adjust height on both sides to this measurement, I find it easiest to block one side's light output so I can focus on one at a time.
